A route that extends to the east, west, and south, this route is the most well-traveled in the region. Pokémon found along this route are typically young and weak, having not developed the strength to venture deeper into the wilderness. Many are friendly to humans and reliant on them for food.

A small, humble town east of Atlas. It was settled by a man and his wife Eleonora, who loved the vibrant flowers of the area. Together, they expanded the meadow and a handful of people joined them for a quiet life surrounded by incredible colors. Though the old man still lives, Eleonora herself passed away many years ago; everyone agreed to name the town after her.

Starting at the western side of the bridge between Atlas and Foresthaven, route 2 is a great place to settle into the deciduous forests of Riskance. Taking the small path north leads one to a peaceful, quiet lake.

Though large in population, Foresthaven’s infrastructure doesn’t lend to its title of “city”. Many new trainers scratch their heads upon first sight of houses carved into the trunks of massive trees or dug into the sides of hills; they wonder where everyone is until thousands of people come dancing down the road in celebration of whatever holiday it is.

This route starts in the forest and eventually leads into the swamps of Riskance. Though this is still a major route, the Pokémon in this area are notably stronger than those of the previous routes.

Water runs between practically every street in Riverweb, and boats are the most common form of travel here. Crime runs rampant here as people use the intricate sewer system to transport illegal goods and Pokémon, having mapped out the ages-old tunnels better than most police and plumbers.

Not much is known about this town; it doesn’t contain a gym and there is no land path to it. If you’ve got the right kind of friends in Riverweb, you may be able to find someone to bring you by boat, but why are you so curious about that anyway?

The government likes to ignore the fact that this route exists, allowing for stronger Pokémon to butt into the road fairly commonly. Eerily quiet, it’s recommended that trainers have a Pokémon or two out of their Pokéballs while traveling along this route. It would be easy to get lost in these swamps if not for the major rivers that the route was built along.

A decade ago, Grim’s Garden (then Cedar Creek) was a haven for social outcasts and weirdos alike. A group of ghost Pokémon decided to play a prank on the humans here, but something went very wrong and all but a few residents died. One citizen remains now, running the gym that they finally got sanctioned by the Elite Four (much to the displeasure of law enforcement). Despite the official gym here, most will recommend not coming to this dreadful ghost town.

The ashlands are not for the lighthearted. Feral Pokémon have become increasingly agitated with humans traveling the route here, and they do not tolerate being bothered. It’s best to travel quickly and quietly here. One should only rest when they break into the forest along the northern path to Foresthaven.

A fairly small town, Grayscape is home to the fire-type gym. The residents here are hardy and no-nonsense, having built up tolerances to the falling ash and fierce wild Pokémon they encounter day in and day out. Buildings are made of fire-resistant materials.

This route is almost entirely on the western beach. A common tourist spot, people and Pokémon from all over the world can be found here.

A mid-size port town reliant almost entirely on tourism, Southport is home to a great deal of scammers. Prices are hiked up beyond belief here and kitchshy, cheap trinkets are a dime a dozen. If you shop around for long enough, you’ll be able to find the occasional high-quality crafter capable of creating something truly unique to remember your visit by.

Trainers can swim on their Pokémon or catch a ship to the archipelago to the south. These waters are deep and enticingly warm, but the ocean is home to many less-than-welcoming Pokémon.

The general name for Riskance’s archipelago, most of the islands lack distinction. One may find small groups of people (or hermits) dotted throughout the small chunks of land, but it’s not advised that one journeys too far away from Sunfire Village unless they are prepared to fight easily-provoked, strong Pokémon.

Sunfire Village is home to a fair number of residents who love the heat and humidity. It’s also a solid vacation place for those who want a quiet place to hang out and be mindless for a week. The draw for most trainers, however, is the gym located here.

Evershine is a sprawling, beautiful city on the coast. This is a hotspot for tourists, as most of the region’s celebrities live here. Everybody who wants to be anybody moves to Evershine. To get here from Sunfire, one must either swim or hop on a ship.

A thick tropical forest filled to the brim with Pokémon, this route is a common training spot for all kinds of trainers.

The western path on the fork is mostly deciduous forest. The eastern half of the route breaks into a mountainous desert and is filled with Pokémon both weak and strong. It’s been said that there may be fossils buried deep in the desert.

Along the peak of Riksance’s second highest mountains stands a proud town of outdoorspeople. They have an ongoing rivalry with Kitmontero, and every few years or so they compete to determine which town will hold the gym. Right now, Kitrantera holds their claim over the bragging rights.

The people of Kitmontero love the planet almost as much as the residents of Foresthaven. They’re constantly able to expand their homes with ease by digging more tunnels and they live almost entirely off the land, so what’s there not to love?

An evergreen forest filled with huge feral Pokémon. The trees here are large, thick, and close together, allowing little sunlight in. Snow is plentiful here, especially in the winter, and there isn’t much of a summer.

A mid-size city nestled deep in the forest, its biggest draw is its cold environment. People from the south often come north to see the snow during the winter holidays.

This cozy town is home to a gym full of massive Pokémon born and raised in a dark and unforgiving forest. On the bright side, you’ll likely be offered a cup of hot cocoa or coffee to take off the edge when you enter the gym.

Easily the least forgiving route in the region, this stretch of road is filled with terrifying Pokémon that are far from understanding the concept of mercy.
